In September, the RISCY team, together with colleagues from Gamma and Robocorp, presented their developments at the All-Russian “Microelectronics 2025” forum. This marks our third time participating in this key event for the Russian microelectronics industry, and each time we strive to showcase something new.
This year, we demonstrated an FPGA prototype of our processor, which has added DisplayPort support since the last forum.
We also had a neural network acceleration framework running at our booth, utilizing the RISC-V RVV 1.0 vector extensions. Visitors could see how the YOLO model recognizes objects from a camera in real time.
The demonstration was run on a Banana Pi single-board computer with SpacemiT’s K1 processor—which is architecturally similar to the processor we are developing. We use this platform for early software development and optimization so that the ecosystem will be ready to go by the time our own chip is released.

Participating in the forum was an excellent opportunity to present the results of our work, exchange experiences with colleagues, and strengthen the RISCY team’s visibility within the professional community.
We’re back where the future of Russian microelectronics is being shaped.
